Home away from home, but better!

"My cousin and I came on a winter break and we could not have chosen better. Marta contacted us before we even arrived with check in details and access instructions as we were arriving late. However despute lateness Helder met us there and showed us our apartment. The apartment is gorgeous, absolutely spotless with great thought given to what you might need. Aside from the usual kitchen utensils there were containers in case you wanted a picnic, there were umbrellas, beach towels and beach umbrellas. There were also fluffy robes and slippers, gorgeous bathroom products,(shower gel, shampoo, conditioner), plus vanity kits, toothbrushes, and sewing kits. The bathroom was well lit and the shower, large, and good pressure. The bed, well what can I say, it is without doubt the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, add the high thread count sheets for a five star experience. We had a lovely little balcony which was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. A bottle of which had been left in the fridge. There is also a lovely roof terrace hidden from view but with lovely views across the rooftops. We had a couple of questions such as getting the TV to work and what pods the coffee machine took as we wanted to buy more, these were answered via WhatsApp promptly and in such a friendly way, each time with a recommendation of things to do or places to eat. Overall this really was a five star experience and, as I like Faro for a winter break I feel I have really found a home away from home. Actually that's not true, Solar Mendonca is better 🙂"

The location is very convenient, easy to access interesting locations must be visited such as Explore Roman ruin, ilha do farol, faro beaches, testing Algarve wines. Visiting old monuments and many other attractions. Rooms are 5* as well as service excellence. We are coming back and recommend Solar Mendonça Algarve, a place to stay and enjoy it!.
